Welcome to eCOLLEGEmics. I’ll be using this blog to share economic news, studies, and tidbits that I think might be interesting to other college students.

About me

Nick Holden is a communication and economics student with a specialization in public relations at Boston University, where he was named a college scholar for his academic performance in the top 5 percent of his class. Working extensively with both traditional and new media, he has a broad range of internal and external communications experience in corporate and non-profit settings.

Nick formerly interned in the Office of Communications at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he contributed original content to the employee newsletter and intranet, researched publications of interest, and tracked relevant business news for the central bank’s officers. Before working at the Boston Fed, Nick served as the communications intern at the New England Healthcare Institute, where his major projects included writing and designing press kit materials and managing the non-profit’s public website.

When he’s not leveraging organizations on regional and national levels, Nick is an official announcing voice of the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association.
